MiCTA, a national non-profit cooperative purchasing organization, has selected E-Rate Central to provide E-Rate consulting services to its eligible members. MiCTA's Master Service Agreement will enable E-Rate eligible MiCTA members to purchase exceptional E-Rate consulting services at a discount.
Using MiCTA's Master Service Agreement, E-Rate eligible MiCTA members may contract for complete E-Rate consulting services from E-Rate Central. MiCTA's cooperative purchasing model delivers competitively bid contracts that provide significant cost savings to its members and eliminates their need to conduct their own competitive bidding processes.
"MiCTA is delighted to welcome E-Rate Central as a MiCTA vendor," said Tim von Hoff, COO of MiCTA. "The E-Rate program is vitally important to our eligible K-12, rural healthcare and library members," says von Hoff. "Being able to offer E-Rate consulting services from E-Rate Central will enable our members to take advantage of significant discounts on telecommunications and Internet services."
The MiCTA Master Service Agreement with E-Rate Central is effective through April of 2013. "E-Rate-eligible members will realize significant benefits from MiCTA's relationship with E-Rate Central," said von Hoff. "We look forward to working with E-Rate Central and our members to help them acquire highly cost effective telecommunications and Internet services through the federal E-Rate program."
MiCTA represents thousands of higher education, K-12, healthcare, library, governmental and charitable entities. Nationally, MiCTA seeks to resolve common voice, video and data issues, provide helpful information, participate in legislative and regulatory telecommunications advocacy, and negotiate discounted purchase contracts for telecommunications and technology services for its members.
E-Rate Central is a specialized educational consulting firm dedicated to streamlining the E-rate application and funding process for schools, state education departments, educational service agencies, and libraries. E-Rate Central has almost 300 E-rate applicants nationwide.
